Who has diabetic neuropathy?

Oh, if I could only go back and talk to my younger self. I would tell myself to take better care of my diabetes so that I wouldn't have to suffer so severely from this horrible nerve damage.
Does anyone else have diabetic neuropathy? It is so terribly painful. I have it in my feet and legs and I HATE it so much.
They tell me it's irreversible too. And eventually, I can lose muscle control in my legs or lose my legs altogether.

yopooki February 15 at 8:46 pm0 LikesI also have bilateral neuropathy along with just too many things to list…I sometimes can't believe the pain..it feels like someone has just turned on the blow torch on my foot and leg…and when try to move it ..it then changes to crazy pain. The best thing that happens is that some times it just doesn't hurt…can you imagine??

lori2010 February 15 at 4:38 pm0 LikesI have had neuropathy since 1995 and fibromyalgia since 2006. Neuropathy caused me to become disabled, and I've been on Social Security Disability since 1996. I feel that neruopathy ruined my life. I'm so physically limited that I'm now clinically depressed. I try very hard to keep my bs low, but living with chronic pain makes it very difficult.
